There are many ways of starting your Book of Shadows, as there are stars in the sky. We must remember that each of us is different and has their own way of understanding the Powers that be and using magic.

So all we can do is give you a few tips and ideas to start your own. There were supposed to be just thirteen sections here, (for thirteen moons?), but strange things happen when magic is around, and it has just not worked out that way! All sorts of info seems to be added as we have found it and it just gets bigger and bigger!!!!

Within the sections of your own Book of Shadows, you can include everything you need, or in fact anything you want too, from ritual tools to charms and amulets, from meditation to food and beverages.

Spells, as such will not be included as a separate section, within the pages of this Book of Shadows, though some may be found in Candle Magic and Sabbats and Esbats, a Spell section IS included within the pages of the Forum

Your Book of Shadows may be something very simple as loose pages in a ring-binder, or if you are very technical one that is kept on computer, either is fine, it is all a matter of choice, time constraints etc., or you may wish to go completely the other way and make your own, with hand-made paper and binder.
